<p>@Skyler Hydrick</p><p>BotW is definitely a DIFFERENT approach for the Zelda franchise, but it isn't necessarily bad. For a Zelda game, it's kind of like pulling another Ocarina of Time, in the sense that it drastically changes up the gameplay that we're used to, but it's still fun and easy to learn.</p><p>
</p><p>It takes a lot of aspects from a wide variety of open-world games, which makes it among one of the best in my opinion. No clunky and glitchy mechanics from The Elder Scrolls series, the freedom to go wherever you want like the Spider-Man series, and other tiny features.</p><p>

<p>Once I got past the whole Great Plateau thing, it slowly climbed up to my favorite Zelda game. It is definitely unique, and fun to explore the open world, being able to Paraglide and warp to any shrine or tower you've been to. I've beaten it 8 times since I first got it in 2017. But I only got all the shrines on my sixth playthrough, which is also the one where I did the Ganon boss rush (but only after getting the Master Sword).</p>
