Horned Statue strategies

So, watching Vinesauce's playthrough, I finally found the location of the Granter of Boons, a.k.a. the Horned Statue, and confirmed he trades heart containers for stamina vessels. If I understand right, the cost comes down to a total of 20 Rupees for each switch.

So, it occurred to me two ways to speed things up.

First, when you're just a few hearts away from 13, trade stamina for enough hearts for the Master Sword. Then trade them back after getting the Master Sword.

Or, once you've got the Master Sword through getting 13 hearts the old-fashioned way, sacrifice a few hearts to get max stamina way earlier.

I'll probably try it on my tenth playthrough, which might be sooner than I think coz I'll be trying a few things I never did before.

I'm on my tenth playthrough using stuff I learned from Vinny's playthrough and I did the first strategy I mentioned when I had 10 hearts and hadn't beaten any Divine Beasts except Ruta, so I'll have the Master Sword for the other three, for just 120 Rupees. 10 hearts is still pretty good to only get stamina for a while, and it certainly hasn't gotten boring this time.

On my most recent playthrough, I did something quite dumb and I got nothing but hearts and grinded shrines for a very long time, so I got the Master Sword without having freed any Beasts. I then proceeded to sell some hearts for stamina.

Interesting strategy. I imagine you cooked a lot of stamina recovery food then.

Not really... I should've, but I guess I just kind of waited for later to get more stamina.
