So im currently downloading BOTW. Ive beaten Ocarina of Time and nearly finished Majoras Mask, in theses games there or no waypoints to tell u where to go and i was wondering if BOTW has waypoints or not, cant find anything on the web about it. So if anyone could clarify for me id be happy. Thanks!

Well I'm not sure if this is what you meant but when you get a quest the location of where you need to go shows up on the map

Yes, the map is usually really good at marking the spot where you need to go. All you have to do is select the quest (between main quests, shrine quests, side quests, etc.), and is probably the easiest Zelda game to beat for the first time without a walkthrough, though the way of getting through the Lost Woods might be a bit cryptic.

As you progress through a Quest, the Quest objectives given to you constantly update as you go, and on the map there'll be a marker for where you want to go.

You can also set markers so you can easily make it to a specific location
