It's the final day of Zeldapedia. I'm going to really miss this place. As said by the staff members, thank you all for 14 years spent on here. And from me: Thank you all for making this community a great place, and thank you all for your participation.

Here is my top 5 list of the greatest aspects of Zeldapedia.

5. Discussion section and Discord server

OK, this may seem a BIT biased, but to be fair, I put it in fifth place and not first. These two platforms are the reason the community is alive. Yes, we still have a number of editors on the wiki, but it's not that big of a number, and the community side of it was what backed up Zeldapedia.

Without the two, Zeldapedia would most likely be in a shady place, often hiding in the shadows of Google search results while Zelda Wiki holds dominance. With these two, many of us here have made friends on here, and today we're talking and talking like we've known each other for years, when it's only been only a year for the majority of us.

4. Temple of Courage

A popularity contest that has been going on for a long time throughout Zeldapedia history. It's the Zelda community's version of Splatoon's Splatfests, and those didn't exist until 2015! The Temple of Courage has been around since April 2008, and I don't know if it was led by destiny or not, but it was revived on April 2019 after a big hiatus.

I've barely participated in the ToC, only going in after its April 2019 revival. I still had fun, and its current fate is still yet to be decided. All those fights between our favourite characters, locations, and even items were fun! The cringy intros and some ridiculous reasoning made this a fun contest to participate in.

3. Encyclopedia

Countless times I've come to here to find information about lore, or theories. Although I didn't learn about the Timeline here, I did learn a lot of other stuff, such as how Eventide Island in BotW was based off of Koholint Island in LA, or Ganondorf's biography throughout the Zelda franchise, or theories over Skyloft.

2. Staff

Many thanks to those staff members who have dedicated their time to this wiki. Volunteering to supply us with their knowledge of the Zelda franchise, keeping this wiki in tip top shape, and watching through the community to keep it friendly and safe.

1. Community

What makes Zeldapedia a great place is YOU. You, and everyone around you made this community a fun, friendly, and happy place. Thank you all for spending your time here, discussing about your favourite Zelda games, your theories, or your own personal life. Without you, we couldn't have made it all the way here.

Yes, I know it sounds cliché, but it's as true as it gets. Thank you so much for dedicating your time here, and a bright future lies ahead for all of us here.

This may be my very last post here on Zeldapedia. Farewell, Zeldapedia. Thank you all for what you've done for us, and we will all miss you. 14 years. We've made it this far, and it feels like destiny for Zeldapedia to be merging on its anniversary. A great way to finish something that once had a steady and slow start, but evolved to something great.
