I thought I'd share some tips that makes several aspects of the game much easier. Some I figured out on my own, and a few I noticed from watching some playthroughs.
1.) Bombs
Bombs are often overlooked. But once you upgrade them for 3 Ancient Shafts at Hateno Lab, they're quite useful. They do 24 damage and are much faster recharging. Of course melee weapons are faster against stronger enemies, but bombs can also be used to blow up ore, knock trees down, and you can also blast Bokoblins or Lizalfos over a cliff.
2.) Ore
Maybe you've been using bombs on ore already, but isn't it annoying when you're at the edge of a cliff (especially at Death Mountain) and it falls over? Well, if you use a Sledgehammer or a strong two-handed weapon, they won't go flying.
3.) Stone Talos
The key to defeating them is to use a two-handed weapon like a sledgehammer or a Stone Smasher (I don't think Guardian axes are as effective), they are super-effective against Stone Talos unlike regular weapons.
4.) Tests of Strength
That moment where they do a spinning laser attack, that takes so much time out of the battle and the most you can do is throw circular bombs at him. But if you shoot it with an Ice Arrow, that interrupts its attack and you can go back to Flurry Rushing it.
5.) Ruta
Apparently a lot of people didn't know you can use Cryonis on its ice blocks instead of having to use up so many arrows on them.
6.) Rudania
I often find it simpler to go ahead without Yunobo at first, and bring a metal box with me to eliminate the sentries and Moblins first, THEN backtrack to Yunobo and take him with you to the cannons. My current (tenth) playthrough I got the Blood Moon during this, but while it revives the Moblins, it doesn't revive the sentries.
7.) Fireblight Ganon's mid-phase
When he sucks in air and shoots a giant fireball, a lot of people think you have to Shield Bash it back at him, proving troublesome for those who aren't as good at it. However, this phase can also be ended by throwing a bomb at him like those Octoroks. On that note, bombs can stun Fireblight, making him the easiest of the Blight Ganons.
8.) Naboris
Naboris is the hardest Divine Beast to board, easily. But it can be beaten much faster by using bows that shoot two or three arrows at once. That'll save you on Bomb Arrows too coz they only really consume one arrow.
9.) Master Sword
When you're inside a Divine Beast, and the Master Sword is glowing, if you don't have any damage you can shoot an energy blade (in place of throwing the sword) to take out those Malice eyes and stuff. This won't use up any of its energy while the sword is glowing, but anywhere else, it will. That's how I ran out of energy for the first time ever.
10.) Mounting horses and stags
It can be tricky sneaking up on some of them. Horses maybe not so much, but stags or the Lord of the Mountain, yes. However, if you can find a high place and Paraglide down, you can drop down next to them and mount them right away before they can run. This is also how I caught a Fireproof Lizard for enhancing my Goron armor.
11.) Thorns
More people probably figured this out already, but Hateno Tower and that one shrine on an island surrounded by thorns, just shoot them with a Fire Arrow.
12.) Hebra Tower
It is nearest to Serenne Stable, so move from there to get it. (if this is your first playthrough, that's the northwest frozen wasteland) Both it and Akkala Stable are far easier to climb with Revali's Gale, btw.
13.) Goron City
Fireproof Lizards are so hard to catch. But if you talk to Gaile at Foothill Stable, she'll sell you Fireproof Elixirs. Also, there are Guardians on the official path there, but heading toward Goron City (marked on the Free the Divine Beasts quest) from Eldin Tower is easier.
14.) Woodland, Faron, and Ridgeland Towers
These towers are the hardest to climb. But there is a simple way to climb them. For the Woodland Tower, find a high point on Death Mountain (nowhere near the lava of course) to Paraglide to the tower. For Faron Tower, head south from Dueling Peaks. For Ridgeland Tower, on the way there from the east, Paraglide from the mountain near Serenne Stable (you'll just land on the lowest platform, but miss all the Wizzrobes).
15.) Getting the Master Sword faster
I already mentioned this on an earlier post but just for the sake of a complete list of tips I have: The "Granter of Boons" is the Horned Statue at Firly Pond, just west of the Hateno Village shrine. If you're just a few hearts away from the Master Sword, you can trade stamina to him for Heart Containers (it'll come down to 20 Rupees each trade), go to Korok Forest and get the Master Sword, then return to Hateno and trade them back to the way you were.
16.) Trial of Wood
There are two particularly annoying parts there. To get by them, either climb the trees to the right and jump across them (though don't go too far right or you'll get "lost"), or shoot the grass with Fire Arrows and ride the updraft.
17.) Shatterback Point
Maybe you did Ruta before any of the other Divine Beasts and can't beat the Lynel, or your weapons aren't powerful enough to not go through too many of them. And annoyingly it sticks you in a spot where he is likely to notice you. If he does, drop down the mountain a bit until he loses sight of you, then climb up again, this time it won't trigger that cutscene, and just avoid him until you get all the Shock Arrows. (btw there is a Royal Claymore at the top of the rock structure above Woodland Stable)
18.) Akkala Tower
If you want to avoid the whole Malice and metal beam thing of Akkala Tower and don't have Revali's Gale yet, but have beaten Rudania first, you can actually Paraglide to Akkala Tower from the summit of Death Mountain - but you'll need quite a few stamina recovery dishes to make it.
19.) Easy Rupees
A lot of people seem to keep their gemstones around for whatever other uses they have. (I know what Amber and Luminous Stones are for, but Diamonds' only other uses seems to be Lightscale Tridents and it might be more worthwhile to sell it). However, every morning at Tabantha Bridge, Dinraal appears, and often either at the Faron bridge or around Lake Tower, Farosh appears, you can shoot them for scales, or their horns which sell for 300 Rupees. And keep going back at different times for this. (After the Naydra shrine, you can find him near Mount Lanayru and the ruins with that memory, but his horn lands in a spot that's harder to reach, and it's easiest to be hit by his ice)
20.) Hinox
Once you've gotten three Ancient Cores and upgraded Stasis, you can freeze enemies in time, including Hinox. They only stay frozen for about a second or two, but that's just enough time to get a clear shot at their eye to shoot with an arrow and stun them, then attack them with a strong weapon. Of course, if you don't have the right weapons, this can't be used on the Eventide Island Hinox.
That's all I can think of right now, if I think of more I'll list them.
