^It was dead anyways. A small community formulated here and after about a year or two it died off and consisted of bratty kids or vandals/spammers. Hence why the "dead fandom" is preserved on Discord, where its actually really active. The Fandom was at its peak, I believe, close to a decade ago. Back then Discussions wasnt used and of course Editing was the primordial way of getting to know fellow fans of Zelda as well as to make friends and form a community. After that sort of died off, a community grew here after I decided to become a Moderator here. Then several users came by who stayed and made the place better, maintaining the community. Now, the community has migrated to Discord, leaving the discussions in a dead state. Make sense?
^It was all thoroughly discussed in the past. Technically, this post shouldnt be an open discussion anyways but I kept it as a last resort for a bit in order for things to settle down and clear up. There was a merge between our community and Zelda Wiki + Universe, and the main community sits on the Zeldapedia Discord Server (which is more active anyways as its live chat conpared to forum posting). So, we archived our information sources, moved them over to Zelda Wiki, and closed down the Discussions, which aren't even meant to be working right now anyways but Fandom clearly hasn't gone around to close this down yet fully.

Its our job as Staff members, not yours as a User. Its a Policy that runs through every Fandom in respect for the Staff teams there. We don't mean any disrespect by it, but boundaries need to be set.

Nope, thats mini-modding. Its not hard for me to pop in every few days and delete everything until Fandom somehow blocks the /d on Mobile and other available third party platforms.
Quick notice: Reporting a Staff Members post? Seriously? For whomever that reported this post - the Reported Post gets noticed by us Staff. It makes no sense to do that.
However, I found it generally quite funny as something like this hasn't happened in ages so yeah.
^It's been promoted and talked about all over the place, but here's the basic tea: Our community has merged with that of the Zelda Wiki/Zelda Universe. Our Mainspace is considered archived and so this Discussions section of the Mainspace is closed. Because there are still ways people can post on here, it's up to me to regularly check in and delete those posts. More information on the Merger can be found out on the Discord server.
For all those still posting, on behalf of the staff team we ask you to stop. Any posts made past this point will be deleted unless purely created by a member of our staff team @Ceiling Master, @Green Rupee or myself.

Wow, that's a load of Goodbye's. It's really good to see a loving community like this, especially given all the highs and lows of the few years the /d has been around, and the times the Mainspace was active a long time ago. I will miss this place.
Personally i'd prefer a more classical approach. Zelda is still an RPG, though, not just BotW. BotW is just more open-world and "skyrimmy", which many people like and others not so much.
I liked games like Twilight Princess and Minish Cap quite a lot. Both those styles would work well even in this day and age. It's just...classic.

It's the way things are efficiently leaning towards, and it would make sense to "merge" our community with theirs for several reasons. I'm still a bit curious on how it will end up - a lot of things sound good in theory, but putting things together practically could open a door to issues which may be overwhelming to deal with at first.
I'm confident that our community can get along with the other, and that any potential arising issues may be quickly dissipated and in no time we'll be one joined and happy community.

I do like ST and PH, but I don't think they need a remaster/remake of any sorts. Those games, as well as the whole DS console family has died out at this point, and if they make remasters of those two games, Nintendo won't get enough attention through them to potentially even pay off the costs of production, marketing and putting out copies all over the place.

As Ben stated above my comment - he made a post sharing a legitimate piece of his art, and unless he was tutored by the ghosts of popular dead artists overnight, those other pieces of art were taken straight from Google Images.
