The Abandoned North Mine is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is located in the northeastern Eldin Canyon region of Hyrule. The mine was once occupied by miners from nearby Goron City, but after the Divine Beast Vah Rudania was corrupted by Calamity Ganon's malice, a number of Bokoblins, Moblins, and Lizalfos invaded the mine and built camps, forcing the Gorons to retreat. Additionally, magma bombs have been causing chaos in the area due to the corrupted Vah Rudania. Drak, one of the Gorons, stands guard to the entrance to the mine, warning travelers and others to stay away from the canons and the immediate area due to the dangers that lurk nearby.
