Adlar is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. He highly resembles the Old Men found in the Oracle games.

Adlar worked as a palace advisor for fifty years. During the events of Oracle of Ages, however, Nayru, being possessed by Veran, arrives at Queen Ambi's Palace and suggests Adlar be banished. Agreeing with Nayru, Queen Ambi sends Adlar away. Despite this, Adlar shows no hard feelings towards Queen Ambi or Nayru and realizes something must be wrong. As a result, he gives Link advice at various points in his quest. After freeing Ambi of Veran's control, Adlar tells Link that she has left on an "eye-opening journey to other lands," foreshadowing her appearances in a linked Oracle of Seasons game.
