- "This tough medicinal plant cannot be broken, but it can be cooked, its durable yet flexible fibers raise your defense when cooked into a dish."
- — In-game description
Armoranth are items from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are somewhat rare, although they grow in large numbers around Mija's Great Fairy Fountain in Akkala Highlands and on Satori Mountain. Armoranth must be cooked to be consumed because they are herbs.
Cooking[]
Link can cook with Armoranth to create dishes and elixirs with the "Tough" effect, which raises Link's defense when consumed. They can be the main ingredient in Fried Wild Greens and Tough Elixir. Link can roast an Armoranth by placing it on a Campfire or hot surface to create Roasted Armoranth. They cannot be frozen.
Below are a list of effects they produce when cooked. Armoranth slightly raise defense, but pales in comparison to the effect of other defense-boosting food. Unless a critical cook is achieved, cooking 1-4 armoranth only produces a level 1 boost, with 5 required for a level 2 boost.
