The Armos Series is the collective name for a sword and shield useable by Link in the Nintendo GameCube version of Soulcalibur II. The design for the weapon set was derived from the Armos from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The set consists of a worn out rock-like shield and a sword. While initially weak, their power and defense increases when Soul Charge is used. While the shield distinctly resembles that wielded by Armos in Ocarina of Time, the sword is too long to be qualified as a short sword similar to what Armos wield.

Link can purchase these for 900 gold in Chapter 2. If Link uses these, his offense is at 100%, his defense at 70%, making it the second worst weapon Link has (the first being the Bug-Catching Net with Hylian Shield). As a side effect, offense increases with Soul Charge, but Soul Charge's effect slowly decreases. It should be noted that the shield has the worst defense of Link's weapons.

Interestingly, the in-game description of the weapon says that they are too heavy for Link and that he cannot use them effectively, but when he uses them he wields them just as well as any of his other weapons.
