Axyl is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Axyl is a Goron child miner employed by the Goron Group Mining Company who can be found at the Southern Mine in the Eldin Canyon region of Hyrule. He is the son of Head Miner Dorill who works the day shift. He is a dutiful son who listens to his father and due to his father telling him the road to Goron City is too dangerous for Hylians he insists Link should stay away regardless if they are prepared for the extreme conditions. Ironically Dorill does not dissuade Link from going to Goron City indicating he keeps his private opinion of the dangers from Hylians in order not to discourage tourism, though Axyl apparently fails to understand this.
