The Blizzard Rod is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a magical rod filled with frost power casting ice attack and freezing enemies or food. Link can obtain it after defeating a Blizzrobe. One Blizzard Rod spawns in a cell within the Lockup of Hyrule Castle. Pondo gives Link a Blizzard Rod after Link has won his minigame enough times.
Quest[]
During the side quest "A Freezing Rod", Kula asks Link to bring him a freezing rod, he accepts either an Ice or Blizzard Rod. However Kula will be impressed by a Blizzard Rod and will reward Link's efforts with a Gold Rupee worth 300 Rupees.
