Bugut is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He is a Hylian traveling merchant who can be encountered in various places such as Outskirt Stable, Fort Hateno in the East Necluda region, Kakariko Village or Dueling Peaks Stable in West Necluda.
When spoken to in Kakariko Village, he reveals to Link he has a one-sided crush on Claree and wishes he could purchase the Stealth Chest Guard at Enchanted but he cannot afford it. He also reveals that in his youth he was a mountain climber and as a young man he would not hesitate to climb up treacherous cliffs like the ones around Kakariko Village. Ironically he can purchase the Sheikah Chest Guard from Link if he sells it to him though Bugut is apparently unable to keep any that Link sells him for himself as he continues to mention his desire to purchase the armor from Enchanted.

Bugut deals in cooking and potion ingredients that grant "Energizing" or "Enduring" effects when cooked. He sells mainly "Energizing" items on clear days and only sells "Enduring" items when it is raining (which includes thunderstorms).

It is implied that Bugut might be unknowingly sabotaging himself by assuming Claree wouldn't be interested in him as her shop contains the Rumor Mill article on Lover's Pond implying Claree may wish to find a mate as Lover's Pond is popular with women and men looking for romance and Bugut may be selling himself short due to his age which might not be an issue with Claree as fellow Sheikah Jerrin shows Sheikah women can be attracted to much older men as she married Robbie who she notes is half a century older than her indicating Sheikah culture may be more accepting of such relationships and women may be far more open to dating older Sheikah or Hylian men, as Paya implies Sheikah and Hylians can interbreed as she notes her family has a strong Sheikah bloodline implying that even her family are not pure blooded Sheikah which my explain why only her great aunt Purah is her only relative to inherit the Sheikah's traditional red eye color. Thus Bugut might have a shot with Claree if he made his feelings known to her provided she actually doesn't have a problem with his age or race.
