A Cheat Tunic is a term used to describe a tunic that can be obtained by using a cheat code from a GameShark. They can appear in black, white, and yellow. The tunics themselves do not serve any practical use, but one might prefer the alternate tunic colors provided by using this cheat code. The different cheat tunics have the same effect as the Kokiri Tunic.

Cheat Codes[]

The Cheat Tunic appears in alternate forms and can be obtained by replacing the last two digits of the code below. [1]

80118440 00?? (? being the possible digits below)
Items 11 12 13 14 15 16 21 22 23 24 25 26 31 32 33 34 35 36 FF
Black Tunic - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Kokiri Tunic - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Goron Tunic - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
White Tunic - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Yellow Tunic - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Zora Tunic - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Iron Boots - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Kokiri Boots - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Hover Boots - - - - - - - - - - - -

Using the code 80118440 00FF will result in the black tunic and hover boots, but it may possibly crash the game when using this code. 80118440 00FF and 80118440 0034 result in the same conclusion, a black tunic and Hover Boots. But it would be wiser for one to use 80118440 0034 instead, as 80118440 00FF may crash the game.

Tunic Color Modifier[]

This is a different type of modifier that only affects the color of Link's currently equipped tunic. It was tested and worked successfully on a ROM of Ocarina of Time version 1.0.

The associated notes for these codes are geared specifically for copy-pasting purposes to the Project64 (version 1.6) emulator.

This code should be pasted into the Code field:
