The Chillfin Trout is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a curative item that restores Link's health by refilling one Heart Container. Link can buy it at Coral Reef general store of Zora's Domain. Link can roast it with fire or volcanic heat to make a Roasted Trout which restores one and half heart containers, or freeze with ice elemental weaponry or by exposing it to cold air or cold water to prepare a Frozen Trout which restores the same amount of health as the raw version, but grants Level 1 Heat Resistance for 1:00. Link can throw a Chillfin Trout into a cooking pot to prepare dishes granted with a "Chilly" effect temporarily granting cold resistance. It can also be cooked with "Chilly" critters such as a Winterwing Butterfly or Cold Darner and Monster parts to create a Chilly Elixir.
