"You got the Deku Leaf! You can also jump in the air and use your magic power to drift on the currents of the wind!"
— In-game description

The Deku Leaf is an item from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Link is given the Deku Leaf by the Great Deku Tree in the Forest Haven. However, he must use Baba Buds to climb the gigantic tree to actually obtain it. This oversized, green leaf allows Link to float through the air, draining magic as he flies. It works best when Link uses the "Wind's Requiem" to create a wind that blows in the direction he wishes to float. It can also be used as a fan, blowing large gusts of air, which can cause harm to certain airborne enemies. If used when Link has an empty magic bar, only the stem is seen, and it cannot be used to create gusts of air. The Deku Leaf can also be used to blow piles of leaves away in the Forbidden Woods and in other areas.
