- "A sword created by the demon tribe in the distant past. Press the Strong Attack button to lock on to a foe. Attack again to shower it with a barrage of dark energy!"
- — In-game description
Demon Blade is the default weapon moveset used by the Demon Lord Ghirahim in Hyrule Warriors. It is described as a sword forged by the Demon Tribe in the distant past. Pressing Strong Attack causes Ghirahim to throw a dagger marking a single foe, allowing him to lock on that specific enemy and pressing Strong Attack again will cause Ghirahim to shower the locked enemy with a barrage of dark energy. Due to the weapon's demonic origin, it has a Darkness Elemental Attribute.
As part of his moveset, Ghirahim can transform into his sword form during certain combos or attacks. He can use the form that he used in his final battle with Link in Skyward Sword while in Focus Spirit. Ghirahim can also summon Bokoblins during one of his combos.
Unlike Fi's Goddess Blade moveset, the different level weapons that Ghirahim wields do not represent his sword form (which instead appears as a transformation he takes during certain attacks) and are instead depicted as swords created by the Demon Tribe that Ghirahim wields.
In addition to the Demon Blades and his sword form, Ghirahim also uses kunai-like throwing daggers, a rapier-like sword, and broadsword as part of his moveset.
His Level 1 Demon Blade is the Demon Tribe Sword, which is based on the sword he wielded in Skyward Sword.
