The Desert Palace is the second dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It is one of the three dungeons in the Light World that houses one of the Pendants of Virtue, the Pendant of Power. It is located in the Desert of Mystery. Its Dark World equivalent is the Misery Mire.

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

Link must get the three Pendants of Virtue in order to obtain the Master Sword. The Desert Palace is, according to Sahasrahla, the home of the second pendant.

Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here.

In order to enter the palace, Link must translate the Hylian text on a stone monument using the Book of Mudora. There are actually two palaces: the main one, where the Power Glove is hidden, and another built into the cliff behind it, where the Pendant of Power is kept. To enter the second section, Link must find the west entrance to the palace and clear away some rocks with the Power Glove.
