The Desert Province (GREATSpaceDESERT) is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is the westernmost province of Hyrule, and encompasses the Gerudo Desert, in which is found the Arbiter's Grounds, which houses the Mirror of Twilight used to open the portal to the Twilight Realm. Separating the Arbiter's Grounds from the Gerudo Desert is a Bulblin encampment.

The desert also contains the Cave of Ordeals, the entrance of which is unsealed after Link and Midna return the chunk of the Bridge of Eldin to its rightful place. There are two Twilight Portals in the Desert Province; one next to the Cave of Ordeals and one in the Mirror Chamber. One of the Sky Characters needed for the Ancient Sky Book can be found in a trench in the Desert Province.

To access the Desert Province, Link must give Fyer Auru's Memo, so that Fyer will launch him to the desert using the cannon from Fyer and Falbi's Watertop Land of Fantastication.

Theory[]

Theory warning: This section contains theoretical information based on the research of one or several other users. It has not been officially verified by Nintendo and its factual accuracy is disputed.

It is possible that the Desert Province is the Lanayru Sand Sea featured in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, as the two share similar locations and shapes.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it is implied that the desert province eventually became the province of Gerudo which contains both the Gerudo Desert and the Gerudo Highlands regions. Additionally, Gerudo Desert contains the Arbiter's Grounds, which is implied to be the abandoned ruins of the original Arbiter's Grounds from Twilight Princess, though this may simply be a reference.
