The Drillshaft is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a kind of spear with unmatched piercing capabilities and allowing to break Ore Deposits with a single strike. Link can also use it to break Weak Walls. It is also an effective weapon against all types of Talus and can kill Pebblits in a single hit.
The Drillshaft has been crafted by Goron artisans from recycled metals and an old excavation bore for the tip. This object is used by Goron miners. One Drillshaft is obtained during the side quest "Death Mountain's Secret" given by Dugby, behind a Breakable Wall after bombing it on a high platform in the Goron Hot Springs. Another Drillshaft will respawn in its hiding spot if the Drillshaft obtained during the side quest breaks. Link can obtain a Drillshaft inside a Treasure Chest of the Rok Uwog Shrine.
