The Ebon Mountain is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is located in the East Necluda region of Hyrule south of Link's House in Hateno Village. Atop the peak lies a small pond in the shape of a broken heart, not to be mistaken for Lover's Pond on Tuft Mountain. Fairies are occasionally found flying above the water near Mimos who thinks that the pond is the actual Lover's Pond.

Korok Seeds[]

There are two Koroks found on this mountain that reward Link with a Korok Seed.

  • One is found on the northeast side of the mountain. It is a flower trail starting at the foot of the mountain encountered directly when leaving Hateno Village.
  • The second Korok is found on a ledge on the northwest side of the mountain, with a Magnesis block puzzle.

Theory[]

Theory warning: This section contains theoretical information based on the research of one or several other users. It has not been officially verified by Nintendo and its factual accuracy is disputed.

Judging by the ponds shape, it is possible that it has the opposite effect of the one on Tuft Mountain indicating those that visit it searching for love end up broken hearted.
