"Highly valued as a medicinal plant, this carrot contains large amounts of nourishing energy. When cooked into a dish, it boosts your stamina beyond its maximum limit."
Hyrule Compendium

The Endura Carrot is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a curative item that restores Link's health by refilling two Heart Containers. Link can find it in the Hyrule Ridge and Faron Grasslands regions, particularly near Malanya Spring, near Mogg Latan Shrine on Satori Mountain, and most Great Fairy Fountains. He can also purchase them from the traveling merchant Bugut when it is raining.

Horse food[]

Feeding one to a horse grants three extra yellow Spurs with a carrot underneath, representing a horses' Stamina Wheel. These yellow spurs disappear after one use and can only be used after all normal Spurs are used up. However, this does not work for some special horses devoid of Stamina such as the Giant Horse. The God of Horses Malanya will require Link to give him an Endura Carrot per horse revival, after the first one free out of gratitude for having restored his power. He claims that an Endura Carrot provide him with energy to revive a horse.

Cooking ingredient[]

Link can roast an Endura Carrot by exposing it to fire or high temperatures of the Eldin Canyon and Mountains regions. This will turn it into a Roasted Endura Carrot which increases the number of hearts restored. Link can also throw this carrot into a cooking pot to prepare dishes granted with an "Enduring" effect if used with compatible ingredients providing same effect like Endura Shroom or providing no effect at all. It can also be cooked with "Enduring" critters such as Tireless Frog, and monster parts to create Enduring Elixirs. Dishes with "Enduring" effect temporarily overfill Link's stamina wheel by adding an extra wheel part. A cooked dish of five endura carrots can be sold for 420 rupees.
