The Enhanced Lizal Spear is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a Lizalfos spear used for both combat and Fishing. It is an enhanced version of the Lizal Spear which Link can pick up and equip himself. Like the Fishing Harpoon and Zora Spear it is designed for spearfishing, thus making it well suited for being thrown at swimming fish. It also floats in water, making it easy to retrieve after being thrown. It is stronger than both the Lizal Spear and Fishing Harpoon in terms of attack power and durability, though it is weaker than the Forked Lizal Spear, which is the strongest of the "Lizal" spear series, thus it is the second strongest of the Lizalfos made spears. It can be obtained from Lizalfos in Gerudo Desert and Tabantha Frontier, though Link may encounter Lizalfos wielding them in other areas like the Zonai Ruins.
Link can take the spear's picture with the Camera Rune to add it to the Hyrule Compendium, where it appears as entry number 311 in the Compendium's Equipment section.
