The Flamespear is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is an elemental spear filled with the power of fire. When attacking, the flamespear releases bursts of fire, burning enemies for extra damage, and instantly killing the ice-based enemies. However, too many consecutive hits will briefly exhaust the spear's fire magic. In addition to combat merit, the fire properties of the flamespear can be used for cooking ingredients, lighting fires, protecting Link from moderate cold, and melting ice blocks. As with the other elemental weapons in Breath of the Wild it's high durability and magical effects make it a good backup to the Master Sword during it's recharge period.
