Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

The Fortune Goddess is stated to have been present during the time of the "legendary hero", presumably the events of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. During this era, the hero visited her frequently to ease his weariness. Many others also visited the Fortune Goddess and were blessed with good fortune afterward.

During the events of The Wind Waker, Link can meet with the Fortune Goddess after destroying a boulder blocking passage to her fountain. She will reward Link with an improved wallet.
