Story[]
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.
Gamelon acts as the setting for Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. When Ganon usurps control of the island, King Harkinian goes to help his cousin, Duke Onkled. When the King of Hyrule does not return for over a month, however, Link goes off to investigate. Following in the hero's footsteps, Princess Zelda and Impa also travel to Gamelon, sometime after Link departs.
Once there, they find that Duke Onkled has folded to Ganon, and is in fact working for him. Because of this, Zelda and Impa hunt down Onkled, and force him to reveal the locations of the prisoners. With this knowledge, the two find Ganon and defeat him, and then free the prisoners from Tykogi Tower.
