The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time[]
The Great Fairy of Magic is found in three locations. At the Dead End near the Castle Grounds, she gives Link Din's Fire. At Zora's Fountain, she rewards the hero with Farore's Wind. In the Desert Colossus, she gives him Nayru's Love. Whenever Link visits one of her fountains, she will fully replenish his hearts and Magic Meter.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask[]
The Great Fairy of Magic lives in North Clock Town. She has been shattered into Stray Fairies by the masked Skull Kid. When Link brings her the orange Stray Fairy found in Clock Town (whose location changes with time), it will fuse with the others, and she will be restored and reward Link. When he does this as Deku Link in the first cycle, he is given a Magic Meter, enabling him to spit bubbles, which allows him to progress further. During this meeting, the Great Fairy recognizes Tatl, and can tell that Link's shape has been altered. When Link brings the stray fairy back after resetting time with the Ocarina of Time, regardless of the form Link has taken, the Great Fairy will give Link the Great Fairy's Mask. This mask aids Link in seeking out Stray Fairies, which are fragments of other great fairies scattered throughout the games dungeons. She will fully restore Link's Magic Meter and hearts when he visits her fountain, regardless of whether she is whole or shattered.
