The Guardian Shield is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a shield with a defense rate of 18, wielded by low level Guardian Scouts. The basic version can be obtained from Guardian Scout IIs in the Soh Kofi Shrine and the Pumaag Nitae Shrine after defeating them. Thunderblight Ganon appears to wield a larger version of the basic Guardian Shield though this shield is unobtainable.

The Guardian Shield+ is a stronger version of the Guardian Shield with base defense rate of 30, that can be obtained from Guardian Scout IIIs. It has a triangular design and it is larger. Its defensive capabilities are comparable to those of a metal shield, though the Guardian Shield+ has the advantage of not attracting lightning during thunderstorms.

The Guardian Shield++ is the strongest version of the Guardian Shield carried by only Guardian Scout IVs. It has a rectangular design and is larger than the other models. It combat capabilities surpass even that of metal shields to the point it can defect Guardian Scout beams.
