- "Welcome, Link. I am Farore, Oracle of Secrets. This is the Hall of Secrets, where your secrets take form."
- — Farore
The Hall of Secrets is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. In the two games, it is located inside the trunk of the female and male Maku Trees, respectively. It is a small hall, with Farore's desk to the left and a staircase leading to the upper branches of the Maku Tree to the right.
On Farore's desk is Farore's Memory, a book which Link can use to look up any secrets he has heard from various characters. These secrets can in turn be told to specific characters in a Linked Game, who give Link a return secret, which is then recorded in Farore's Memory on the Linked Game. The return secret can be taken back to Farore in the Hall of Secrets in the first game. Depending on the secret, Farore will either upgrade one of Link's items or cause a Treasure Chest to appear in the middle of the room. After the item has been taken from the Treasure Chest, the chest disappears.
