The Happy Mask Shop is a shop from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Situated in Hyrule Castle Town, the Happy Mask Shop is unique in that it sells "happiness" in an indirect manner. The proprietor, the Happy Mask Salesman, gives masks to his customers, and they are meant to sell the masks to people who want to buy them. The customer then brings the money back to the Happy Mask Shop, and gives it to the Happy Mask Salesman. This process, in return is supposed to give the customer happiness.
The Happy Mask Shop plays a focal point in the Happy Mask side quest. If Link manages to sell all the masks given to him by the Happy Mask Salesman, he is rewarded with the Mask of Truth. The Mask of Truth can be used to listen to what Gossip Stones have to say. Its name is mentioned by the Happy Mask Salesman in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, but it is never seen or mentioned again.
In the 3DS remake, the shop contains unobtainable masks and the backpack carried by the Happy Mask Salesman in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
