The Hero's Cave is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. This cave is located to the west of Horon Village. There are a few enemies inside the cave, including Keese, spiders, and Gels. After solving a few puzzles inside the cave, Link obtains the Wooden Sword, the first and weakest sword in the game.

In normal games, the Hero's Cave will not appear in Oracle of Ages; However, if Link is exploring a Linked Game the Hero's Cave will appear to the right of the entrance to the Maku Tree in the Present. Like the second Hero's Cave in Oracle of Seasons, it is filled with rooms, each testing Link's items and his ability to use them. After completing certain rooms, a teleport checkpoint will be activated, similar to those from mini-boss fights. After completing every room in the Dungeon, Link will find the Armor Ring L-3 in a chest, and be teleported back to the first room.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[]
If Link is exploring a Linked Game in Oracle of Seasons, he will already have the Wooden Sword at the beginning of the game. The Hero's Cave, consequently, is transformed into a mini-dungeon. Each room of the Dungeon will test one or more of Link's items to its fullest effect, and every normal-game item is required to fully complete the Dungeon. After completing certain rooms, a teleport checkpoint will be activated, similar to those from mini-boss fights. After making his way through the entire dungeon, Link will receive the Power Ring L-3 from a chest, and be teleported back to the first room.
