Ice Bubbles are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. They are Bubbles with the ability to freeze Link.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[]
Ice Bubbles freeze Link upon contact, causing gradual damage until he breaks free. They are encountered in the Snowpeak Ruins as well as the Cave of Ordeals. In the Snowpeak Ruins, they can be found inside suits of armor that Link can knock down with the Ball and Chain.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass[]
Ice Bubbles both damage Link and encapsulate him in ice, causing him to slide across the floor. The ice thaws after three to five seconds. If Link has powered up the spirit of Leaf with 10 or more Power Gems and equips Leaf, he can defeat an Ice Bubble with a single hit from his sword.
