The Insect Cavern is the fourth dungeon in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. Located in Gooey Swamp on the Second Continent, the Insect Cavern is a dark, somewhat eerie location. After Tingle saves the Queen Bee in Steamy Marsh, she flies Tingle to the Insect Cavern and grants him access to the dungeon. Inside Tingle must make his way through the various chambers, eventually meeting up with Teddy Todo. Eventually the protagonist finds the mysterious Mini Death Bug Chrysalis, and gives it to Teddy Todo. After the two defeat the dungeon boss, Beetle King Death Bug, Teddy Todo eats the substance and becomes a powerful Drifter Bodyguard, joining the ranks of Yamori and Ronny.
