The Island Chief is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. He is the leader of the Anouki living on the Isle of Frost. The Island Chief seems to have a fascination with Asian culture, as he owns tapestry with Chinese, Japanese and other Asian characters on it.

The Island Chief is one of the first to report to Link that one of the Anouki, Aroo, has been kidnapped by a Yook, and says that a Crazy Yook is living in the kidnapped Anouki's house in Anouki Estates. He tells Link to speak to each Anouki in Anouki Estates until he finds the right one. He then gives Link a hint that Yook are liars. Link then goes and accuses an Anouki of his choice. If he accuses the wrong Anouki, he must go back and tell the Island Chief to try again.
