Item Podiums are recurring objects in the Legend of Zelda series. These podiums are found in every level in each of the games that contain them. They are used to hold items when the Links are not carrying them, as well as to hold new items.

Appearances[]

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords[]

Item Podiums hold items such as Bombs, Boomerangs, Bows, Gnat Hats, Magnetic Gloves, Pegasus Boots, Roc's Cape, Shields, and rarely Bow-Wow.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[]

Item Podiums hold items such as Bombs, Boomerangs, Bows, Fire Rods, Lanterns, Magic Hammers, Pegasus Boots, Rocs' Feathers, Shovels and Slingshots. While these items are usually found on Item Podiums, several appear in Treasure Chests and one Fire Rod is found under a rock.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[]

Item Podiums appear in the first stage of every level in Tri Force Heroes. Like in other games, picking up an item off an Item Podium will allow Link to use said item. If Link already has an item then he will swap it with the one on the Podium. However in this game once all three Links have equipped themselves with an item, the Item Podiums will disappear and the pathway to the next level will open. Item Podiums can contain the Gripshot, Bombs, the Boomerang, the Bow, the Fire Glove, the Gust Jar, the Hammer or the Water Rod.
