Kodondos are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. Kodondos resemble triceratops and attack by breathing fire. Kodondos are very similar to Dodongos, and are possibly related to them.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past[]
Kodondos are first encountered in the Tower of Hera. In the Palace of Darkness, Kodondos are found in a dark room, leaving Link unable to see what direction the fireballs are going to come from until the Kodondos are illuminated by his Lantern. They come in two colors, red and green, but both attack by spitting three fireballs in quick succession and are defeated in the same manner.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[]
Kodondos appear in the Dark Palace and Turtle Rock, creating the same difficulties for Link as they did in A Link to the Past. They attack by spitting a continuous stream of fire. If they just use their fire breath attack and it hits Link, they stop and will attempt to hit him again. Their walking and death movements are very similer to Rats.
