"SILENCE! Begone! Begone!"
— Maggie's Father

Maggie's Father is a character from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

Maggie's Father lives on Windfall Island with his daughter Maggie. At the beginning of the game, they are very poor beggars who live on the outskirts of the island.

As Maggie bears long Hylian ears, the Helmaroc King mistook her for Princess Zelda and took her to the Forsaken Fortress on Ganondorf's orders.

When Link washes up on the shore of Windfall Island, Maggie's Father has already entered an extreme state of depression and fear. Every time the man sets his eyes on Link, he repeatedly begs the Hero of Winds to look for and rescue his daughter.

After Link rescues Maggie from the Forsaken Fortress and Tetra's Pirates bring her back to Windfall Island, her father sells the Skull Necklaces that she was given by a befriended Moblin named Moe. This action makes Maggie and her father extremely wealthy. They move into the Hall of Wealth that Mila and her father used to live in, switching their roles of being wealthy and poor citizens.

From here out, Maggie's Father changes greatly, becoming an extremely snobbish and arrogant rich man. As it was Tetra and her crew who returned Maggie to her homeland, her father did not know Link's contributions to this rescue, nor does he remember ever meeting Link at the beginning.

Here it is revealed that Maggie's Father despises postmen, and he refuses to allow Ilari to deliver a letter from Moe to Maggie, despite Ilari's hardship of traveling to the Forsaken Fortress and back. If Link gives Maggie's father 20 Skull Necklaces, the man gives him Treasure Chart #2. Also, while Mila's Father would force Link to pay for breaking the vases at the bottom floor of his house, Maggie's father does not seem to care about them.
