"You got the Magnetic Gloves! Their magnetic might attracts and repels. Press the button to reverse polarity."
— In-game description

The Magnetic Gloves are a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series. These gloves can be used to attract or repel magnetized objects. If the affected object is stuck in the ground, Link will attract or repel himself accordingly. Opposite polarities will attract each other, and equal polarities will repel each other.

They are vital to defeating Digdogger, the boss of the Unicorn's Cave. Enemies that wear heavy metal armor, such as Darknuts and Ball & Chain Troopers, can be attracted and repelled by the gloves, making it easier to kill them by sending them to a bottomless pit. They can also be used to attract Ore Chunks from anywhere on the screen. Interestingly, the sprites depicting the Magnetic Gloves are right-handed gloves; when Link uses the gloves, however, he stretches out his left hand.

The Magnetic Glove can be used to attract or repel magnetized objects. It can be obtained by exchanging another item at an Item Podium. A new feature is that all players currently playing the game can each obtain one. This allows the glove to be used on other players if opposite charge is kept on each.
