"Remember your battles! When you fought things that ran around, didn't you battle them using your own body?"

Majora's Incarnation (ムジュラの化身 Mujura no Keshin?, lit. "Incarnation of Mujura") is a boss from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. After the defeat of Majora's Mask, Majora's first form, it transforms into Majora's Incarnation. Majora's Incarnation has a decidedly more humanoid form than its previous form; it has arms, legs, a torso, and a small head with a single eyeball. It performs various dance-like movements, such as the moonwalk, pirouette, and hopak. Majora's Incarnation is very nimble, and thus, difficult to hit.

Some aspects of this form suggest that Majora is childlike in nature. Its movements are very erratic, it appears to throw "temper tantrums" on the floor when hit, and it utters very childish shrieks. After being defeated, it turns into Majora's Wrath.

Battle[]

Majora's Incarnation

This battle is arguably more disorienting than the previous fight due to the fact that Majora's Incarnation leaves a trail of afterimages in its wake, and also moves very quickly and erratically, making it harder to see where it is. Majora's Incarnation normally attacks by ramming into Link, but occasionally stops to hurl a barrage of multi-colored energy balls from its hands as well.

The Fierce Deity's Mask is generally more useful against Majora's next and final form, so it is a good idea to battle this enemy using minimal amounts of magic, if any. An effective tactic is to use Deku Link's Spin Attack to trip Majora up with relative ease as it runs around the room, then remove the mask to return Link to his Hylian form, in which he can attack Majora's Incarnation while it writhes on the ground. Deku Link's shield covers his whole body, so it can easily block every single energy ball Majora shoots.

If, however, Link has used Chateau Romani or possesses Green or Blue Potions that restore magic, and the Fierce Deity's Mask is unavailable, the Goron Mask is also useful for the same reasons as the Deku Mask, only his rolling attack replaces the Spin Attack in this strategy. If the Boss Remains from the previous phase of the battle were not all destroyed, any remaining will continue attacking in the same manner.
