The Man from the Shooting Gallery is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series. He is a large, hulking man who owns and operates a Shooting Gallery in both of his appearances.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time[]

The man owns the Hyrule Castle Town Shooting Gallery when Link is a child, and later moves his business to Kakariko Village following Ganondorf's siege of Hyrule Castle, and sets up the Kakariko Village Shooting Gallery. As a child, if Link shoots eight or more Rupee targets using his Fairy Slingshot, he will will be given a bigger Deku Seeds Bullet Bag by the man. As an adult, Link can play the mini-game again to receive a bigger quiver for his Fairy Bow.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask[]

The man owns and operates the Town Shooting Gallery. If Link beats the current high score, he receives a Quiver upgrade, and if he attains a perfect score, he receives a Piece of Heart. Subsequent achievements of these scores result in rewards of 50 and 200 Rupees, respectively.
