Mayor Ruul is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. He is the mayor of Horon Village, the capital city of Holodrum. He is very interested in Gasha Seeds and presents Link with one when he arrives in Horon Village. Another seed can also be found within a hidden room in his house. Interestingly, Mayor Ruul bears a slight resemblance to Mario from the Super Mario Bros series.
Etymology[]
It is possible that, as the leader of Horon Village, his name comes from "rule".
