The Merchant Fan is an item from Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. One of the thirty Rupee Goods in the game, the Merchant Fan is given to Tingle by Mr. Akindo after Tingle sells him every local specialty.
The description of the Merchant Fan states that it is decorated with the universal merchant's six rules: "clean teeth, smile, shave, be persistent, lie and cheat."
