Metal Shield Moblins are an enemy from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. As their name implies, they wield a square Metal Shield in addition to their traditional Moblin Long Spear and wear an metal helmet for extra protection. Unlike Wooden Shield Moblins, a Metal Shield Moblin's Shield cannot be cut and resists bomb explosions, requiring Link to climb over the shield to attack their backside. Despite being rare, Link has to face two at once on a bridge in the Sky Keep as part of a long battle sequence.

Hyrule Warriors/Legends[]
The Shield Moblins in Hyrule Warriors are based on the Metal Shield Moblins from Skyward Sword. Like Metal Shield Moblins, Shield Moblins carry a square Metal Moblin Shield and wear a metal helmet. However unlike Metal Shield Moblins, they are just as vulnerable to Bombs as the game's standard Moblins are, even though shields will remain intact.
