The Midna's Helmet is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a thematic head armor inspired by the Fused Shadow worn by Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Midna's Helmet has defense 7 and grants one level of Guardian Resist Up, making it equivalent to a level 1 (★) Ancient Helm or Diamond Circlet.
Upon "The Master Trials" DLC pack installation and after the side quest "EX Treasure: Twilight Relic" is triggered, Link is guided to find and read the Misko's EX Journal at the Outpost Ruins, in order to discover the "Twilight Relic". It is a new Treasure Chest containing the "Midna's Helmet", and buried in the northwestern building of the Sage Temple Ruins. Link has to use the Magnesis Rune to get the chest.
According to Misko's EX Journal as well as the above listed side quest's adventure log entry, the helmet, alongside seven other pieces of treasure, was stolen from Hyrule Castle by Misko. The description also implies that it was a copy of the original.
Its description marks the first time that the Link from Twilight Princess is officially referred to as the "Hero of Twilight" in the main series.
