Mighty Bananas are items from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are curative items that restore Link's health by refilling one half Heart Container. Mighty Bananas can be obtained from banana trees in the tropical forests of the Faron province of Hyrule. Link can also purchase them from the Fruit Shop run by the elderly fruit seller Emri in Kara Kara Bazaar in the Gerudo Desert region.
Link can roast them with fire or volcanic heat to prepare Roasted Mighty Bananas which restore three quarter of a heart container. Link can also throw Mighty Bananas into a pot to prepare dishes granted with a "Mighty" effect increasing attack power. They can also be cooked with "Mighty" small animals such as Bladed Rhino Beetle, and Monster parts to create Mighty Elixirs.
Members of the Yiga Clan are known to be quite fond of Mighty Bananas and as both Yiga Footsoldiers and Blademasters will drop them when defeated. Mighty Bananas can also be used to distract Yiga Blademasters while sneaking around in their lair, as well as Monk Maz Koshia during his boss fight. Hinox also drop Mighty Bananas along with other kinds of fruit. Yiga clansmen disguised as Travelers may sometimes try to sell Link overpriced Mighty Bananas, to which Link can buy; whether he buys or not, they will attack him afterwards.
