Minister Potho is a character from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. He serves the Royal Family of Hyrule, where he is the advisor to King Daltus and tutor to Princess Zelda. When Princess Zelda is turned to stone, Minister Potho gives Link the Smith's Sword to aid him in his quest. When Vaati creates Dark Hyrule Castle, Minister Potho is turned to stone as well, before being reverted back to flesh and blood by the Four Sword.

Strangely, the small sound byte that plays when Minister Potho talks is the same as the one that plays when Link talks to the Postman in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Also, a painting in Hyrule Castle in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker features what appears to be ancestors of Tetra's Pirates, and the one corresponding with Mako bears an uncanny resemblance to Minister Potho.
