"A restorative power born from the spirit of the Champion Mipha. When your hearts run out, you'll automatically be resurrected with full health plus temporary bonus hearts."
— In-game description

Mipha's Grace is a key item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link obtains this power from Mipha after defeating Waterblight Ganon in the Divine Beast Vah Ruta. It can be deactivated and activated at will by equipping or deselecting it at the Key Items menu. It is a blue orb that has a symbol of Vah Ruta in the center.

Mipha's Grace revives Link upon death, much like a Fairy, though it restores all of his Heart Containers rather than give. Mipha's Grace also grants Link five bonus yellow hearts. It has a 24-minute cooldown period after Link has been revived from death, and activates before any Fairies Link may be carrying.

Mipha's Grace is upgraded to Mipha's Grace + after completing the quest "EX Champion Mipha's Song" as part of The Champions' Ballad DLC. The cooldown is reduced to 8 minutes.

Story[]

Like Daruk's Protection (possessed by the Goron Champion Daruk), Mipha was born with her healing powers, which she used to heal wounded Zora Knights and made her beloved among them. When Link first arrived in Zora's Domain, he was already a gifted swordsman capable of besting grown adults, but his recklessness caused him to be injured frequently. As Mipha healed his injuries over the years, during which time she developed a crush on him that evolved into genuine love.

Since Mipha was killed during the Great Calamity, she was unable to heal Link when he was injured protecting Zelda.
