The Mountain Town of Darunia, also known simply as Darunia, is a location from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. This town can be found among the mountains of the the northwest coast of Eastern Hyrule.
Link visits the town during his adventure, and is taught the Jump Thrust by a Knight of Hyrule. Link also helps a woman save her Kidnapped Child from a cave on Maze Island. As a reward for doing this, he is allowed to see a Wise Man who teaches him the Reflect Spell.
Etymology[]
The Mountain Town of Darunia shares a name with Darunia, one of the Seven Sages from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
