Mt. Tamaranch is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. It is a huge mountain situated in the Tal Tal Mountain Range of Koholint Island. At its peak rests the Wind Fish's Egg, where the Wind Fish slumbers. It is also here where the final Nightmare, DethI, lingers.

Mt. Tamaranch is accessible throughout the game, although the entrance to the Wind Fish's Egg is blocked until Link has collected all eight of the Instruments of the Sirens. In the instruction booklet, it is stated that Mt. Tamaranch is a volcano, although it shows no signs of being active, possibly because the crater appears to be plugged up by the Wind Fish Egg.
