Nabooru is a mini-boss from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. After being captured by Koume and Kotake, Nabooru was brainwashed and forced to do the bidding of Ganondorf. To empower her, the witches placed her in an Iron Knuckle suit and made her stand guard outside of the boss chamber in the Spirit Temple.
Battle[]
Although Nabooru resembles a typical Iron Knuckle, there are quite a few differences between them. Nabooru looks slightly different from them, being orange-hued, and having a different looking mask. She also has more endurance than all the other Iron Knuckles in the game. Despite her extra health, however, Link still defeats her in the same way. After Nabooru is dealt enough damage, her armor falls off. Unlike other battles against Iron Knuckles, when the armor falls off, Nabooru falls out, no longer brainwashed, and the battle ends instead of going into a final stage. Somewhat humorously, before the battle starts and Nabooru gets off her chair, she swings her arm as though she is holding an axe, only to realize that she is not holding one. She then proceeds to snap her fingers and a large axe materializes in her hand.
When Nabooru is no longer inside of the Iron Knuckle suit, Koume and Kotake appear and state that they have been brainwashing her. She is then recaptured by the witches, and Link progresses onward to save her.
